Women's Wellnest Physiotherapy
Supporting pelvic health across all life stages
Helping women feel stronger, more in control, and more connected to their bodies
Welcome to Women's Wellnest
Hi, I’m Helen Swift, a Women’s Health–focused Physiotherapist committed to supporting pelvic health across all life stages. My work is grounded in a deep respect for the physical and emotional complexity of the female experience.
Over time, this has led to a depth of study and integration that extends well beyond standard clinical care.
By keeping my practice intentionally small and personal—free from the pressures of new client numbers, retention targets, and clinic overheads—I’m able to stay focused on deeper clinical inquiry and the kind of care that leads to truly meaningful outcomes.
My Qualifications
With a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (First Class Honours), Bachelor of Exercise Science, and extensive post-graduate training through APA Women’s Pelvic Health Physiotherapy (Levels 1 & 2), plus advanced specialization in areas including prolapse management & pessary prescription, pelvic pain disorders, birth preparation, and bladder & bowel dysfunction, I bring both clinical expertise and genuine dedication to women’s health.
My love for ongoing learning means I continually invest in furthering my knowledge and refining my skills. The field of women’s health is constantly evolving, and I believe staying abreast of changes is essential to providing the best possible care. This allows me to offer you the most current, comprehensive treatment approaches available.
My Approach
I’ve chosen a different path—one that gives me the time and space to continually invest in learning, research, and refining my approach. This means I can connect the dots across hormonal shifts, pelvic biomechanics, post-surgical recovery, and whole-body wellbeing in a way that’s thoughtful, nuanced, and truly centred on the women I care for.
As a mother of three who has experienced two hospital births and a midwife-supported home birth, I understand firsthand the physical and emotional journey of pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. I know the reality of juggling motherhood demands, the challenges of finding time for your own health, and how overwhelming it can feel when your body doesn’t function the way it used to.
This lived experience shapes my approach—I meet you where you are, with empathy for the complexities of your life, not just your symptoms.
My Vision
At Women’s Wellnest, connection and collaboration are at the heart of everything I do. The Nest is my vision — my dream of bringing together trusted health professionals who share the same holistic, woman-centred approach.
While this space doesn’t yet exist, you can already explore the network of practitioners I work closely with and recommend across the Noosa region.
AREAS OF SPECIALTY
I can help you with the following conditions:
"Women are often told their symptoms are 'Common'... This does NOT necessarily mean their symptoms are 'Normal'."
"The body wants to be healthy, that is why we need to listen to it. Symptoms are our body's way of telling us, something needs to be changed."
"I am here to help Women optimise their health through-life, so that they can achieve a fuller life."
